Trained exclusively by his owner, a professional show-dog handler, he responds confidently to verbal commands and hand signals. His owner can assist on set when required, but Dexter has also worked successfully with other handlers, proving his adaptability and reliability.

Dexter has experience working on a full-day commercial shoot with Cesar and a professional photoshoot for a local photographer, helping promote their business with no issues. As an active show dog, he always arrives beautifully groomed, calm, and prepared for busy environments. His strong show background means “stand” is his natural default pose, ideal for product placement and still campaigns, though he performs sits and additional behaviours with ease. Dexter is quickly closing any remaining experience-based training gaps and eagerly learns new skills.

This West Highland Terrier dog model lives harmoniously with five other dogs, a miniature house rabbit, and guinea pigs, making him a fantastic choice for shoots involving multiple animals. He is also comfortable around birds and shows friendly curiosity rather than prey drive.
