Meet Daisy!
Daisy the Beagle for hire, a rescue from the NAWT Watford, captured her owner’s heart from the moment they met. Unlike the other barking dogs in the kennel, Daisy stood quietly, exuding a calm demeanour that set her apart. This unique characteristic defines Daisy, who is known for her serene and gentle nature, atypical for her breed. Despite the usual food-driven tendencies of Beagles, Daisy remains composed and undisturbed by other dogs, whether big or small. She is exceptionally tolerant of young dogs and puppies, often allowing them to climb over and under her without complaint.
On walks in the local park, Daisy’s calmness is evident. She strolls past squirrels and ducks without the slightest urge to chase. Her tranquil presence has made her a favourite among local children, who know her by name and love to pet her, even in groups of two, three, or four. This Beagle for hire’s training began with puppy classes and progressed toward the Good Citizen award, but the closure of her training centre halted their formal progress. Nevertheless, her owner continues to practice basic commands, including recall and controlled distancing.
Daisy’s serene demeanour and photogenic appearance earned her a modelling job for Goodwood House‘s publicity campaign for their upcoming dog festival. This single paid modelling job showcases her potential in the animal talent industry.
Daisy recently starred in a meet and greet campaign for Hot Point and Blue Cross, which required her to work along side other dogs in a giant dog house.
