The birds are covered with insurance and a zoo license by the site. This covers taking the birds off-site in the correct manner to maintain their well being. Additionally, they have keen eyesight for detecting food at a distance or during flight, strong feet equipped with talons for grasping or killing prey, and powerful, curved beaks for tearing flesh.
