Mia the Scene-Stealer: Urban Paws Star Shines in Netflix’s Upcoming Series Too Much
Ready to fall in love this summer? Netflix’s brand-new series Too Much drops next month, and our very own Mia is stealing the spotlight. This Chinese Crested dog brings bags of personality and a face you won’t forget!
Too Much is created by Lena Dunham and her husband, Luis Felber. It also marks Dunham’s return to TV after eight years. This buzzy, genre-blending romantic comedy is already generating buzz. Produced by the team behind Love Actually, the series follows Jessica, a workaholic writer from New York, played by White Lotus star Megan Stalter.
Jessica moves to London in search of something more. What follows is a whirlwind of culture shocks, unexpected connections, and, of course, plenty of animals.
One of the biggest scene-stealers in the series? Mia. Recently praised by Vogue for her show-stealing turn as Astrid, Mia is a nearly hairless Chinese Crested from Cambridgeshire. Moreover, she adds charm, comedy, and irresistible quirk to every scene. She stars alongside an A-list cast, including Emily Ratajkowski, Richard E. Grant, Adwoa Aboah, Rita Wilson, Andrew Rannells, and Stephen Fry. Mia holds her own, and then some.
However, Mia isn’t the only furry face on set. In fact, Urban Paws Agency proudly supplied up to ten animal actors for the production. From cats and dogs to even a horse, the animal cast plays an integral role in Too Much, ultimately making this series a real treat for both pet lovers and film fans alike.
Packed with humour, romance, and a big beating heart, Too Much is a love story about starting over, finding yourself, and discovering that a dog really can change everything. We’re beyond proud to see Mia lead the pack in this high-profile production and can’t wait for the world to fall in love with her just like we have.
🎬 Too Much premieres on Netflix and Netflix UK on 10 July—don’t miss it!
