Toto is a charismatic Nova Duck Tolling Retriever with a heart as golden as his coat. Sweet-natured yet playful, he charms everyone he meets. His journey started with a twist of fate when his first owner found him too much to handle. Within 48 hours of hearing about him, his current owner drove from London to Amsterdam to bring him home. Since then, Toto has become an adventurous and well-travelled companion.
Breaking the misconception that dogs limit travel, Toto has explored Europe extensively. He has ventured through France, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, and Spain. His adventures include car camping in the Dolomites, kayaking in the French Gorges, and a month-long stay in Barcelona. Adaptable and calm, he thrives in new environments, making him a perfect fit for film, TV, and advertising.
Toto is highly intelligent and eager to learn. He picks up new tricks within a session or two, thanks to his strong food motivation. His favourite treat? Comté cheese—he certainly has refined taste! This Nova Duck Tolling Retriever responds reliably to commands and excels in high-energy activities, especially when rewarded with a ball. Though naturally drawn to water and retrieving, his true talent lies in scent work. Currently training for truffle hunting, Toto is working towards an exciting project—a truffle-themed supper club in London.
Beyond his skills, Toto is undeniably handsome. His striking blue-green eyes and unique crimped ears turn heads wherever he goes. He boasts a distinguished white chest, white socks, and a ‘third eye’ marking on his forehead, adding to his wise, old-soul aura.
