Meet Elmo!
Elmo is a Golden Retriever for hire with a knack for charming everyone he meets. Known for his signature “meerkat pose” (sitting pretty), Elmo brings a blend of playfulness and professionalism to every shoot. Whether he’s splashing through muddy streams, riding on crowded trains and tubes, or strutting through the streets of London, Elmo thrives in any environment, showing off his adaptable and laid-back personality.
Friendly and affectionate, Elmo gets along well with other dogs, making him a perfect fit for multi-pet shoots. He recently starred in a Christmas campaign for Pooch & Mutt alongside five other dogs and even dined with 20 dogs around a table, all while keeping his cool. His impressive social skills and calm demeanour in group settings were highlighted when he helped promote the Goodwoof event, taking part in unique activities like dog massage and sound bathing without missing a beat.
Elmo’s talents don’t stop at posing—he’s also a seasoned model for fashion campaigns, having worked with Weatherbeeta dog coats, where he embraced getting as wet and muddy as possible before transforming into a stylish star, wearing clothes, hats, and glasses with ease.
His off-lead behaviour is excellent, with great recall using whistle and word commands, making him ideal for outdoor and action shots. Recently, this Golden Retriever for hire started agility training, adding to his growing list of skills, and he has already earned his intermediate trick dog title.
Elmo is also incredibly gentle, especially when taking treats, making him perfect for working with children. His ability to catch treats and show off his football skills with his paws, chest, and nose adds an extra layer of fun to his performances. Highly food-motivated but never a food thief, Elmo is the ideal canine talent for a variety of media roles.
