Meet Akira!
Akira is an Agouti Siberian Husky for hire with striking blue eyes. He’s friendly and easygoing, getting along with both dogs and people. If ignored, he stays neutral. He works well with other animals, like cats and horses, though he needs time to adjust to new cats. At home, he lives with cats and enjoys playing with them. Akira also loves meeting new dogs, always ready to play.
Akira listens to commands from a distance but responds best to his handler. On set, strangers might need treats to get his full attention. He tends to stick close to his handler but is learning to hold his position until told otherwise. As a working dog, Akira is always up for a challenge. He’s currently training for gun dog skills and will soon start security work. He’s also active in canicross and mantrailing.
Akira enjoys splashing in water but hasn’t learned to swim yet. He’s taking swimming lessons to build his confidence. Known for his vocal nature, Akira can “speak” on command—though it might be a bark, howl, or classic husky chatter.
While Akira doesn’t have professional shoot experience, he’s used to posing for the camera, thanks to his handler’s photography work. He’s great with kids, handles loud noises well, and is comfortable in busy environments. However, he needs his sleep—without it, he can get a bit grumpy! Though he has a high prey drive, Akira’s recall is solid. Confident, adaptable, and eager to please, this Siberian Husky for hire is a fantastic talent to work with.
