This was her first racing experience and she loved it. She is now a working and racing dog as part of a team of four Huskies. As a lead dog, she listens to the driver of the sledge’s commands, understands when asked to turn right or left, go straight, or walk on by other dogs etc. The driver’s commands are all verbal so she associates ‘gee’ with ‘right’ and ‘haw’ with left for example.
